Here is something else to throw into the discussion, my Titans have scored 234 pts in the 1st half and just 110 in the 2nd half. So my QBs look pretty good until halftime and pretty crap afterwards, that means there is a hell of a lot more going on than just bars. I say it's GP even though i changed it alot, but if that's happening to me it's happening to others and maybe in different ways. This version of FOF is screwy in my view. 2nd half fall offs are a hallmark of my teams also. Not sure what this is about. In the CFL it has played out over the course of the season as well. Two years ago went 5-0 to start the season, ended up 8-8. This season started 7-1, currently 7-8. I don't know man...

Ok, so we have gone on about QB height, but not bar specifics... Bighouserulez , do you think you could have a look across the leagues at the bars that seem to create the most success? I would assume SR would top most of peoples list for the most important bar. I know others like Accuracy as well. Personally my order is: SR ACC MED 3rd RD I've seen similar in what's important in a quarterback, but I'm convinced that a QB in FOF is only as good as his receivers. Take my much-maligned quarterback, Daniel Leverette. His ratings are better or at least comparable than guys like Stan Feigenbaum of Philly, who's having a much better season, but look at the receivers. Leverette has never had a receiver like Quentin Cates (70 overall rating) or even Will Williams (58). Ricky May? He has nice accuracy rating, but he also has a receiver (Kaplan) better than anyone I have. Seems the better teams in the league always have at least a couple of guys rated 60 or better. I have a mediocre receiving corps, so I really don't know what I have in Leverette, despite his being at or near the bottom of league passing stats for two seasons running. So that's why I wasn't so hot to take the "can't miss" QB when I had 1.1. I didn't have any receivers for him to throw to (and still don't). Not sure the guy I took at 1.3, Brad Wilkerson, will become that, but I have to start somewhere. If I ever can run out an elite pass catcher and another one or two guys who are above average, then I may have something.

Anyway I am not trying to find out why its happening what I am saying is this kind of thing happens along with other strange stuff that then screws QBs or WRs stats so you need a hell of a lot of data to get to conclusions on which bar is the most important for which position.

The same gameplan will work differently with different teams. For example, RR will dramatically change how targets are allocated.

I agree completely that's why i think in this version it's very hard to say what bar is great and which bar is not so great because if Rex does not like your gameplanning then your studs suffer and that screws the stats as you said at the start of the season

I think for testing purposes you have to use SP but hey what do i know

Does anyone want to see the scout ratings on the top 3 WR's over my 100 year SP save?
The top 2 have over 15,000 yards, and it looks as though their best bar was RR followed by GD then BPR... goes a bit against what I thought, but if they are the best over 100 years?
ps, not super elite guys like grayvil or Shelton either.

Yes please it has to be SP for testing. Because if you take Nicks Seahawks players stats he'll have two WRs with 9ypt etc. You give me the exact same team and schedule etc and that ypt will be 7.5 or 8, that's another reason you can't use MP for testing

these two put up some pretty nice stats, especially with the avg/t for their careers. What I can see is that they weren't the super elite like we have in this league, but they both were good RR's and especially with Cottrell, the combo of RR and GD ad no BPR, and he is the leader in the 100 years

See SP sort of doesn't work for the testing IMO. It will give you the initial stages of how each player performs but let's be honest we are playing in a MP league.
The thoughts in my process for this is to see what players Gms are using to make work. That means you will have alot less then big red bars. The Rex gameplans with big red bars against each other really just make the better players rise to the top.
I want to have a MP gameplan on offense and defense(granted half the world rexes) and then see what players really stand out for an owner.

I've seen similar in what's important in a quarterback, but I'm convinced that a QB in FOF is only as good as his receivers. I think a QB and WR are in the same ball park when it comes to getting an Offense moving down the field, very little between them. What makes the difference is there is more to the QB position than generating yardage. Interceptions, sacks, fumbles from sacks. This is what sets the QB apart and makes it the most important position on a 1 vs 1 basis. But we must also remember there are 3 WRs on the field most of the time. So as a positional group, WR is more important than QB IMO.
