i like Penix.. i also like good qb's on rookie contracts w a 5th yr option....
i'd rather see the dolphins draft him, than give tua $50k a year.... not happening, tho.. dolphins seem all in on tua...
i see Penix getting drafted 1-16 by seattle... oregon kid has to have a lot of fans in that state... and i think their OC, is the guy from oregon that has already worked with him...
i like a few of those WR studs.. harrison, nabors, odunze, thomas, worthy

Penix is good. Just an unfortunate last name. Injury history is a concern, but the idea of a guy like JJ McCarthy getting drafted over him is ludicrous to me. He obvious struggled in the national championship but people are letting that performance color their view of him too much. He's got a long resume of success at the QB spot. He's also surprisingly athletic, he just doesn't use his feet all that much. I watched him play my Broncos, and he struggled initially, but once he got going he just destroyed us.
I kind of like Bo Nix as a sleeper though. He's got a lot of the traits that help in the NFL. Strong arm, athletic, prototypical size. I think he's kind of a poor mans Josh Allen, but probably farther along in his development than Allen was when he entered the draft.

I think most of these quarterbacks in this draft will bust out, even Caleb Williams. Jayden Daniels probably the best but he's going to a bad spot in Washington with a defensive coach.

Kurt Warner mentioned that is basically impossible to draft QBs these days because they just aren’t asked to do anything in college. “I know many of you LOVE college football, but as I start to dive into these college QBs, it’s hard for me to even watch, very few play on schedule, the pass concepts are a mess most of the time, they run the same play over and over, a million bubble screens, can’t find many concepts that translate to [the] next level.” You basically are drafting on traits and you hope you can teach them to play QB.

I agree with this 100%. I think that's the reason you see these Alabama QBs get taken so high recently. They play as close to a pro style as any team in college. Although, they have been using the spread more as time has gone on. That's also why I'm so perplexed at why the Michigan QB's red flag is, "he doesn't throw the ball enough." WTF kind of evaluation is that? He plays in a pro set and did exactly what the HC and OC wanted him to do in every game. How is that a bad thing?

I think some teams are high on Spencer Rattler for the same reasons and he’s probably going to end up going higher than most fans expect. I feel compelled to mention Kurt Warner has a channel too breaking down the draft prospects. youtube.com/@kurtwarnerqbc?si=h9oXb67hdFkxQMSV

These are my favorite draft nerds i like to listen to break down the players in the draft. Been following them for a few years. Last year they were very high on basically every player the Packers drafted. WR Jayden Reed, WR Dontavious Wicks, TE Luke Musgrave. They have a pretty good eye for mid rd talent

So tired getting "Are the Vikings going to trade up" for aQB? Is it JJ McCarthy, Drake Maye, or even a trade for Justin Herbert? It can not get here soon enough.

My Patriots are sure to mess it up. Everyone wants a QB at #3 for us. I know it is our biggest need but so much risk with these guys. I would almost rather we pick WR Harrison at #3.

Thanks for the links here guys.
It's shaping up to be a FOF MP draft is it not. All the good QBs and WRs go first, then the rest
