Cousins supposedly had no idea and got a text because he wasn't watching the draft...ouch
The Worthy kid is legit man he was IMO the 5th best WR in the class.
Pearsal was a neat pick i really liked him man but had him in the top 10 WRs. I am glad....So glad the lions did not get Legett like every mock had him doing ug.

Kirk Cousins apparently pretty pissy about the Falcons drafting Penis That was a really weird pick. Everyone wants to copy the Packers model now. GM even said that after the pick. But this is nothing like the Love situation. Love was 24 yrs old after sitting for 3 years. Penix is already like 23/24. he'll be 26yrs old after 2 seasons. these are not the same situations. Also Love was very raw and needed to sit for a couple years. Penix is probably the most pro ready, next to Bo nix. Played a ton of ball

I was happy we don't have a QB and 100,000 fans running round with "Penis" on the back of their Jerseys... Chris Berman is hyperventilating at all the nickname possibilities.

Tell me if there's stuff you guys like that I might not have heard of, because right now I'm not seeing much to chime in with I don't listen to podcasts much at all. However I follow a lot of Matt Waldman's coverage of drafted players. Maybe you would enjoy him? Although that kind of depends on what you're looking for. He has kind of an analytical approach to charting and evaluating players. That seems like something that could be up your alley. He gives a pretty detailed explanation of it here: "While each position I eval has a long checklist of defined criteria ( mattwaldmanrsp.com/2021/03/28/matt-waldmans-thoughts-on-the-making-of-the-2021-rookie-scouting-portfolio-samples-included/ ) that I used to grade players. I also chart plays to create my own data for passing accuracy, receiving, tackle-breaking, contact balance, and elusiveness. As for the NFL Combine/Pro Days, I use the data to cross-check with what I've seen with mph data I have access to as well as my own on-field assessments of speed, acceleration, and short-area quickness. "As my podcast partner, and professional trainer/former sprinter/RB, Brandon Angelo has detailed, some of the measurements at this workouts have great variation due to the equipment used. mattwaldmanrsp.com/2023/04/28/listen-before-day-2-of-the-nfl-draft-or-forever-hold-your-peace-rsp-scout-talk-with-matt-waldman-and-brandon-angelo/"I use the measurements as a guideline for my tiers in my stack rankings that drive my overall depth of talent score, but I also use mph from RFID tracking and contextual guidelines for speed-acceleration-COD quicks. "Pretty much any of the RBs I scored at a 78 or above in Depth of Talent. Some notables: Blake Watson, Dylan Laube, Audric Estime, and Kimani Vidal. At WR: Jermaine Burton, Aimias Smith, and Javon Baker." His podcast is called "Matt Waldman's RSP Cast"

The 49ers taking Ricky Pearsall was a surprise to me, I had him WR 10/11 in the class, hopefully they know what they are doing! I keep hearing this means the 49ers have to trade one of their WR's, but I don't understand why, yes Aiyuk will be expensive, but by the time Pearsall needs paid Kittle and Samuel will both be gone? I think the issue is paying Brock next year, not Pearsall in 4 years. They also don't throw enough to justify this pick as a role player, so I could see why moving off Deebo makes some sense. Especially since he decided he doesn't block anymore. Trading Aiyuk makes no sense to me.
