Zach (and Simon / Rob)
Great stuff. Way to break it down into relatively simple concepts that can be applied. Took about two pages of notes. Thanks again.

This was ALL Simon. All I did was provide the Zoom meeting room and cause distractions, LOL.

Just wanted to ask about something in this video, when Tzach had mentioned about making sure all the little modifiers are lined up correctly on key downs like 3rd and in the Red Zone etc, he'd mentioning running to the strength of his line, so to the right if you've got good run blockers there etc or the strong side with good extra blockers in at TE or FB or whatever. However I've heard several conflicting theories on how line blocking is calculated in the game and I'm not sure if it's how it pertains to who gets awarded things like the key block or who allows the sack but yeah, I've heard that it's calculated as a group thing, so the whole O-line vs the whole D-line in terms of their particular blocking attribute, I've heard that it doesn't make a difference what side you run to in terms of strength of blocking because it gets randomly assigned anyway etc so I'm just wondering what the hive mind of the RZB consensus is? if there is one
I mean, just today I'm listening to Clay's IHOF video and Juggs (who I believe is an esteemed running GM) is confidently asserting that running to a particular side doesn't matter as it's randomly assigned anyways

Clay uploads all the IHOF videos they make to that channel, lots of good discussions amongst various GMs

Has anyone changed up their gameplans in the last 2 sims where you've implemented some of the tips here?

I've been able to run to particular sides taking advantage of defenses weaknesses and having success doing it. I haven't watched the video yet, as it's over three hours long and I haven't had the time...but I will at some point.

Had to go back through and find it, the discussion begins at 1:35:33 and for context they're talking about top 10 players at each position in the league. Currently looking at OT and Rick (RgVicedo) declares that he runs his top RB to the right, then Juggs comes in and the discussion goes from there.

I know it could just be a slight difference in semantics here but I guess running to a particular side to exploit a defences weakness could be considered different to running to a particular side to benefit from a OL's strength? I lack the experience to call it either way unfortunately, I also don't know Juggs - only that he's a running GM. So guy's who know him and the game better may be able to make a more informed judgement on the info.
