Welcome to the 2037 Bighouserulez draft review! OK so i had a busy time at the draft but man i love this time of the year. I am excited to see what teams really screw the pooch and who really grabs some great value here on these players. Do we get a Wr run or did we kill that last year? Does a team draft 7 wide receivers? Is Seattle going to hose someone? There are so man variables here-
Cons-Young smaller body type that comes from a smaller school and hope that does not hurt him with all his runs. He is decent at avoiding the rush but really just does enough and then runs out of the pocket usually for a big gain with his feet. He does not have a great knack of timing with his Wrs but at Delaware state they seemed to run a ton of sandlot football with Siever making plays.
Rating-122.5 #1 Qb on my list #3 player on my board
Grade-A+ I told Squirrel that i thought he was the better of the Qbs and worth the 1st overall pick. Qbs and Wrs rule the world.
1 - 2 (2) New York (A) squirrel Christopher Howe WR Tulane
Pros-You cannot teach speed and that is the number one value this kid brings to any team. He is a 4 time NCAA hurdle champion and went undefeated in his NCAA hurdling career. He can beat you deep or has the quickness to make you miss and get the Yac yards by the boatload. His college production was not great on a bad team putting up 1122 yards and 11 TDS but the whole team had 15 receiving touchdowns if that reveals how had the offense was. he runs crisp routes and puts himself in and out of breaks to make defenders miss and to make the catch.
Cons-Lack of production has to be a slight worry but Tulane was a bad team. He is also only 20% dev so this will take some time to see this kid's max potential. He does drop a decent amount of balls but we are not sure if that is the QB play or Howe. He also does not run a ton of accross the middle routes as he is a smaller kid and may have alligator arms in the middle-
Rating-93.7 All Pro #1 WR on my board #12 player on my list
Grade A I hope he reaches his potential and i had underrated in his interview and came off impressed. I think you had 3 or 4 Wrs and Howe was sort of 1A for his speed
1 - 3 (3) Kansas City rush Terry Farr DT Southern California
Pros-Farr is a 3 time all american and such a beast that they put the 308 pound lineman at WLB on 3-4 scheme pass rush or coverage. He is a dancing bear type of player that is big, athletic, and an amazing young man. He is a hard hitter and had 12 forced fumbles last year alone with 21 in his college career. He never missed a down in his 3 years as a starter for the Bears. He has both power moves in pass rush and good agility moves also while being a better then average run defender.
Cons-I love the kids motor and is probably a DT in RZB. He is a DT and truth be told not elite so that is a slight drawback here because of the lack of impact position. I see him as a good run defender and good pass rusher and not sure how much the coverage skills can work in this big picture.
Rating-107 All Pro #1 DT and #9 player on the big board(Note to Rush i would have had him my #3 DE)
Grade A- I love the player will be a nice 10 year pro that puts up good numbers and clogs the middle. I think his ceiling is capped but the floor is high.
1 - 4 (4) Jacksonville slimmikey Butch Washington CB Purdue
Pros-I raved that this is one of the best kids in the draft and a complete shutdown cornerback. He was a 2 time 1st big ten selection and ended up as Purdue's all time leader in tackles as he played safety and also linebacker. BNR master as he gets his hands on wide receivers and truth be told throws them off their routes. He is a timing nightmare for offenses. He is as good as i have ever seen at run defense at the cornerback position. He reads and reacts as well as you can ask for a player on an island in man to man coverage. Hard hitter with soft hands that kills the old saying "That is why you play defense".
Cons-I think he has very little flaws and the highest ceiling and highest floor player in the draft
Rating-128.4 Hof #1 CB in the draft and #2 player on my board
Grade A+ This one is really really easy....
1 - 5 (5) Green Bay clown Howie Pritchett WR Duke
Pros-Pritchett was one of two players from Duke to go in the top 20 at WR. You would have thought this offense would have been one of the best in the NCAA! Pritchett has the best overall average combines for WRs which usually means he is a at least going to keep up with what his ratings show. His Big play ability is the best in this year's draft. He can beat anyone deep and runs great routes. If you take that and give in the fact that he is one of the most sure handed guys in this draft that is a massive sell for an elite WR. I had him marked as the best pure 1 WR and i do not mean the best WR i mean he will beat the double coverage and play well against the better coverages.
Cons-Not a Yac guy and really has not much wiggle after the catch. The 3rd down catching is just ok and you hope that does not hurt in the big picture as he will get a ton of targets. I see him as slightly overrated and not as good as the ratings according to my scout but i hope he is a beast for Clown.
Rating-76.5 Starter #6 Wr on my board # 42 on my big board
Grade B+ I like the kid as a whole and i KNEW someone would jump all over the BP bar with RR. I would have taken him or debated on him at pick 5 myself but i think he is a little overrated.
1 - 6 (6) Arizona Jeremy (online) Rodney McNeil S Oregon State
Pros-I know he is listed as a safety but i think more of a cornerback. The winner of the Jim Thorpe award pulled away early this year when he had 2 pick 6s against rival #1 ranked Oregon and then followed it up with a 3 interception game versus Stanford. He was invited to the Heisman ceremony and finished 4th. He has elite instincts of a shutdown corner with elite hand to hand man skills and also elite arm bump and run ability. He has great hands and plays the run. He had one of the best combines i have seen overall from a safety.
Cons-He is a big kid that punishes people but some scouts were worried he was too big 6 foot 2 and 219 pounds to play corner or safety.
Rating-131 All Pro #1 S on my board and 2nd rated player on my board
Grade A+ I love this pick. Jamie asked me who i liked and i mentioned this kid as 1A and a good value out of the top 5 to get stuck with
1 - 7 (7) Denver Hooper Jerome Krueger ILB Stanford
Pros-I love this kid who is an all american and one of the better all around linebackers in nation. He was the captain and made all the calls for the Cardinals. He also pulled a hat trick leading the team in tackles (146), sacks (14.5), and tackles for loss (19). He is a 5th year player and it shows he was head and shoulders better then most offenses and play calls. He is an elite run defender and you can put him in the 3-4 WLB spot and he will lead the team in sacks. This kid is a football junkie with an IQ off the charts that you cannot measure.
Cons-He is an older player at 24 years old so you have a good 7-8 years of elite player coming from him. He has great speed that he uses on the pass rush or coverage but not a great BNP guy as he gets out "quicked" at times on the line of scrimmage
Rating-113 All Pro #1 ILB on my board #5 player on my board(Note #1 DE on my board)
Grade A A leader of the defense that can do it all. I think a great pick should boost any defense from the 1st day on the field.
1 - 8 (8) Detroit * Sef0r Andy Burks RB Wisconsin
Pros-Burks is the most purely talented running back in this class top end. He has elite speed that is even faster on gameday compared to the combine. He ran for 2000 yards in Winsconsin's brutal pound and ground system and was the runner up for the Heisman this year. He reads and hits the hole as good as any back this year and has the speed to take it the distance on any given play. He also is a good between the tackles guy that has speed which is a major positive.
Cons-Not a great out of the backfield guy. he has decent hands but not great out of the break and more of a make the catch guy not a YAC guy. he is a bit raw and also you have to wonder if he is one of the guys that is so great because of the Wisconsin system.
Rating-100.3 All Pro #1 Rated RB #15 overall on my board
Grade A Boring to give another A but really a solid pick here. I think he is not as good as advertised but still a good high 50 rated RB.
1 - 9 (9) Pittsburgh ezlee2 Jerome Allen WR Syracuse
Pros-Allen is a talented kid but never really put it on the field. He played in 6 games this year for the orangemen and posted 2 100 yard games whereas one of them was a 217 yard 9 catch game versus Rutgers with 3 touchdowns. He has great big play talent and runs good routes. His Yac is one of his main positives and this kid is very much impossible to tackle with the first defender.
Cons-25 years old and only 25% dev is a worry to me. His endurance is also a major question to me but he is going to a good offense where he can rotate in with some major talent. He does not run routes accross the middle or play much special teams. He has good hands but just less then average at making the spectacular catch.
Rating-53.6 starter #7 Wr on my board lower then 60 on my board
Grade B I scouted him and thought i would have been reaching at 1.18 but the BP bar makes you really wonder and i myself was a little worried with the age and dev.
1 - 10 (10) Baltimore Big A Morris Shapiro G Wofford
Pros-Mauler and mammoth man that is an elite prospect top to bottom. Shapiro can control the defense with his huge wingspan or his 1000 pound squat and drives defenders into the ground. He has a nasty streak that paralyzes defensive lineman at the line of scrimmage.
Cons-he plays Guard but this is a great one coming out guys i do not have much to take away. Great combine and great bars with great size and dev and only 22 years old.
Rating-118.9 All Pro
Grade A+ This G draft class is really deep but this is the best of the bunch. He can close up and offensive line and make them contenders immediately.
1 - 11 (11) Seattle * (10 min) Nick » change team Ezekiel Rigney WR Oregon State
Pros-The best route runner in college as a beaver. He breaks in and out of routes better then any player in the college ranks. He plays every down and never leaves the field. He has enough wiggle to be a good one and can beat most defenders on the deep ball either by out jumping or contorting his body.
Cons-Not an elite speed guy looks like a good starter. Does not always make the tough catches based on his body adjustment and does not have any return skills.
Rating-81.7 #2 Wr and 22nd player on our board
Grade A I really did not think he was going to make it out of the top ten. I love the RR i hope he lives up to his ceiling but seems like a meet in the middle player
1 - 12 (12) Cincinnati * (10 min) Julio Riddols (online) » change team Steve Taylor TE Missouri State
Pros-I love this kid and i put a note in saying "probably the best value player in this year's draft no matter where he goes and should be a top 5 picks". This is the once every few years type of player that can be a difference maker. YOu have a 6 foot 7 tight end that moves and runs like a wide receiver and blocks like one of the best offensive lineman. He runs routes and makes space and is so hard to tackle after the catch.
Cons-Not the 90 yard catch on the fly type of tight end but he will get you the 11 YPT and punish people in the meantime.
Rating-98.4 #1 Tight End on my board #14 on the board
Grade A+ I think a difference maker and a great pick on a player i thought would have been in the top 10 as he is the best tight end we have seen in a few years.
1 - 13 (13) Jacksonville slimmikey » change team Butch Schwartz OLB Boise State
Pros-Scwartz is listed as a LB but is an exceptional pass rusher. THis is a technique driven player that learns and adapts his craft. He has spin and swim moves that counter offensive lineman moves very much like watching hand to hand combat with him. A great elite run defender and drives through the tackle making the ball carrier feel it.
Cons-Not great in coverage and struggles a bit with man to man. I think a great value for a WLB or rumor has it he will play defensive end in Mike's new scheme.
Rating-103.1 #1 OLB on my board #12 player on my board (Note #3 DE noted)
Grade A great player i would love to throw him at WLB in my 3-4 but i could also use him at MLB with that run defense.
1 - 14 (14) Miami FlexD » change team Diego Mangrum T Colorado State
Pros-At Colorado State this kid did not allow a sack and was the main focus in the run game. He has the longest arm span of the offensive tackles and played 4 seasons as the LT starter. Sound base blocker keeps his feet and does not overpower but finesses defensive lineman.
Cons-Not strong at the point of attack and uses his body to block instead of controlling with his arms. He has had endurance issues in the past but played all 4 seasons in at least a play in every game.
Rating 107.4 #1 T on my board and #8 on the board
Grade A Not a pick i can complain about i love his combines and blocking bars. I hope they stick up in the home run range and this pick is then awesome.
1 - 15 (15) San Francisco dthompso8 » change team Bert Greene WR Arizona State
Pros-Great route runner at Arizona State and also won the MVP at the Senior Bowl. This year's Fred Bilitnikoff award winner is a big kid that attacks the ball in the air. He can make defenders miss and cuts off angles using his speed and size as he is very disruptive in the open field. He is very sure handed and barely misses a catchable target. He is also one of the better kick returners in this year's wide receiver class.
Cons-Not a 3rd down and move the chains type of WR and will make a juke or cut at times ignoring the 1st down marker or not get enough distance. That 0 bar in all honesty scares me a little as it makes me think this poor kid is going to drop a bit. His BP does not show me he is as good as he should be and that sole is really a 40 not what it shows. I hope Dave gets the opposite of what i am thinking is going to happen here.
Rating-65.8 Starter #8 WR on my board and past the top 60 players or close to it
Grade C+ I am sorry i think there is something that does not match up here with the 0 bar and the combines.
1 - 16 (16) Kansas City rush » change team Walter Money QB Vanderbilt
Pros-Wow i NEVER would have thought he would have been on the board at pick 16 and quite honestly i should have traded up to get this kid but Rush always steals my Qbs i like just ahead of me so that is no change. OK Money is Money as his avoid interceptions was incredible at Vanderbilt throwing 92 touchdowns and only 21 interceptions in his 3 years. The kid has a strong enough arm to succeed at the next level but excels in side arm screen passes or deep lobs where he is very accurate. He has 19 4th quarter come from behind victories and leads the 2 minute warning like a veteran.
Cons-Not the best arm and does struggle somewhat with medium and intermediate passes with accuracy and timing. Not a scrambler as he only rushed for 42 yards at Vanderbilt and really just an ok sense rush whereas he does get sacked a little more then you would hope.
Rating-111.2 All Pro #2 Qb on my list #7 player on my board
Grade A+ Qb check good player check good avoid ints most likely check good size check.....I mean check the boxes the only issue may be vol(87) Love this pick
1 - 17 (17) Minnesota Strubbel94 » change team Dillon Sloan DT Clemson
cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/jiwgSUObHaZuy9GmkKALnXsAN40=/0x0:3323x2215/1200x800/filters:focal(1468x259:1998x789)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/63406319/usa_today_11343458.0.jpg
Pros-The immoveable object as this guy is as strong as it gets. He only stands 6 foot 1 and 299 pounds but throws offensive lineman away like rag dolls. This guy is also nimble and wreaks havoc when put outside on the pass rush. He is a junior and plays like veteran that understands the game.
Cons-PLays the run just above average but not ideal at DT. He is also a little small and does not knock down many passes. My biggest knock on him was his endurance as he is not a pure 3 down player at times he needs to rest or plays tired and wears down a little.
Rating-105.9 #10 overall and #2 Dt on my list
Grade-A I think this draft everyone seems to be on the same page as me and not many reaches. This kid is a good one only his run defense sets him back for me a little.
1 - 18 (18) Washington hildebrand (online) » change team Leonard Henry CB East Carolina
Pros-Henry is a small kid that would have probably gone higher had he eaten his wheaties when he was younger. He sits 5 foot 8 which is not small but not a big corner. I marked him down as a safety because he seems to fill zone coverages a ton better and looks very much at ease in zone for reading and reacting. Great hands and and en exceptional run defender. He makes plays and throws his body in the running lanes this kid is fun to watch
Cons-Not a big kid when it comes to film study and relies on his talent and eyes to see and make plays. 68 volatility is not ideal but but that PH is higher then it should so the bars should hold up.
Rating-102.1 All Pro-#2 Cb and #13th player on my board
Grade-A Another pick i cannot kick at all here. You have a good smooth player i would move to S and get 40 + career picks and 80 pass defense and be happy.
1 - 19 (19) Atlanta Wes (online) » change team Mickey Horn WR Duke
Pros-This kid runs around like his head cutoff at times he is untouchable. He had an amazing 18.7 YPC in his Duke career. He is an older draft prospect hitting the Falcons at 25 years old. He is a good route runner and move the chains and makes the catch when necessary.
Cons-PLayed 2nd fiddle to Pritchett at Duke so there were a lot of scouts that wrote that up as a negative. His BP is not great but just about average. He does not return punts or kicks and has some endurance issues where he may not play 80% of the snaps on offense.
Rating-78 Starter #3 WR on my list #41 on my list
Grade A- I like the fact that the 3rd rated WR was here at 19. He looks like a Yac machine at first glance but you have to knock him down due to age.
1 - 20 (20) Seattle Nick » change team Ted Morel C Angelo State
Pros-Once in a lifetime Center prospect. Morel had one of the best combines i have ever seen in total from a Center. he has quick feet and pop his arms into defenders keeping them at bay. He uses his feet and athleticism to really shield the defender in the run game. He never missed a snap in his 4 year career and did i mention he was the strongest player on the team for the Rams...
Cons-His run blocking is probably a slight level below perfect so may be only exceptional.
Rating-113 All Pro #1 C on my board # 6 player on my board
Grade A+ I sat a pick before and said i have to take this WR or C and i figured Nick would take either one i did not take. Total stud beast player at C.
1 - 21 (21) Oakland SweenDawg72 » change team Frederick Dearth G Arizona
cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/3UBEfFYUiiOcTidt-NfXy5lnVKY=/0x460:2102x1861/1200x800/filters:focal(0x460:2102x1861)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/47560801/usa-today-8242809.0.jpg
Pros-Dearth is the captain of the Wildcats, a 2 time all american Junior, and 1st team Pac 12 for 2 years. He plays every play like it is the last play of the game and has endurance that last for days. He is a strong kid at the point of attack if he gets his hands on defenders and controls them. Quick feet and good hands in the run game.
Cons-Not an elite pass blocker and a really raw kid that only played in 22 games in college.
Rating-92.8 Starter #2 G on my list #22 player on my board
Grade- A- Good player nice starter will get paid for 10 years 8 million a year and just sustain the RG spot in Oakland so SD does not have to worry about it.
1 - 22 (22) Chicago davehibb » change team Winfred Boone CB Middle Tennessee St.
Pros-Boone is one of the better pure cornerbacks that can play at a high level in this draft. He excels in man to man and also BNR coverage and is a great run defender. He also is a film study nerd makes it a classroom. His big plus is his excellent kick return ability and also his ability to return interceptions for Tds as he had 7 in his career.
Cons-Really not a hard hitter and lowly graded punishing hitter. He also is not a safety his zone coverage is really pretty bad as he needs to use his skills on man to man coverage. My biggest worry on him is his endurance as he will struggle at times to stay on the field. He was really just a role player for middle tennessee stat his last year used mostly on passing downs.
Rating-85.9 #5 Cb on my list #30 player on my board
Grade-B+ Good looking kid and starting CB. I had a few rated above him but one of the better pure cornerbacks remaining.
1 - 23 (23) Pittsburgh ezlee2 » change team Giovanni Macri TE Washington State
Pros-Macri is a plodder as he makes the big 3rd down catch and moves the chains or makes the big block to move the pile. He is a smart kid that is sure handed and makes almost all of his catches over the middle in traffic. He is the all time special teams tackle leader for the Cougars
Cons-OK when i watched tape on him my first instinct was that he was slow. I rated him as a late 1st early 2nd player as he rarely ever breaks a take and his YPC was just around 7 in his career. He is a good blocker but does not overpower opponents.
Rating-69.1 Good PLayer #2 TE on my list #66 player on my board
Grade B- Sort of a surprise pick here but a good player that will start and be rated high but not an elite playmaker in the passing game.
1 - 24 (24) Carolina Pip76 » change team Sebastian Fitzgerald T Kansas
Pros-His mother calls him handsome. Fitz plated for the Jayhawks who are like a basketball team on the field and run only 4-5 times a game. This kid steps in as one of the most ready to pass block offensive lineman total. He is a strong kid so once he steps into his backpedal he an still one arm an opponent and not lose his feet.
Cons-He is another one of those raw kids that you really have to play this year and take your lumps or give him time to be a ready part of the offense at only 29%. He is an average Run blocker which is tough for an elite left tackle to not have.
Rating-104.9 All Pro #2 LT on my board #11 on the board
Grade A I am not so in love with this kid as i want my grissle with my steak so i want my LT to be a beast in the run game but this kid had some eye opening combines.
1 - 25 (25) Chicago davehibb » change team Stan Martin ILB Illinois
bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com/pantagraph.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/1/0f/10fb7656-00a1-11e3-88cf-001a4bcf887a/52045d6fe0edc.image.jpg
Pros-Two big ole Static bars were starting at Dave here and he had to do it as it gets his love revving. Stan is one of the strongest pound for pound players in the draft. He hits hard and he is a wild bore attacking the offensive line in the pass rush. His instincts in the run game are perfect. He is the gunner on the Punt team and refuses to miss out on any oppurtunity to hit someone. He studies films and does all the necessary work that will make him an great linebacker.
Cons-His man to man defense could really use some work as he seems to struggle staying with faster backs or tight ends. He also has some endurance issues despite being in the weight room every day he misses more games and plays then you would think from a big strong fellow like him. I marked him down as a great 1st and 2nd down guy not sure i work him on 3rd down passing situations
Rating-78.6 #40 player on my board
Grade A- i think a solid guy that was grabbed a little early but should be such a solid stud it will not matter. I wanted to mark it a B+ and the Dave factor moved it up.
1 - 26 (26) Buffalo * (10 min) ChrustifusMax » change team Robert Zigler CB Mississippi State
Pros-Zigler is an elite man 2 man defender. At the Senior bowl we would set him on whoever the best player on offense was and they really could not shake him in one on one drills. He was the fastest kid at the combine and did we mention that he is as hard a hitter as you can get from a defensive back? He understands zone coverage and has good hands and natural instincts to read the play and understand his job.
Cons-His BnR skills are very offputting you can almost say he cannot cover the shorter routes or BNR because he gets manhandled at the line of scrimmage more often then not. He is a big kid and will allow a good amount of short passes.
Rating-96 #3 CB on my board #17 player on my board
Grade-A I am guessing he moves to safety as that looks like his ideal spot. I wanted to knock him down with his BNR but that may pop in TC.
1 - 27 (27) New York (N) Joel (online) » change team Bubba Shea C Alabama
Pros-Bubba played for national Champs and is only 20 years old. He was an all american this last year. He was one of the most dominant lineman for Alabama leading the way for Marco Wilcox and Drake Thompson at RB. That combo ran for 2500 yards last year and i think they will both go undrafted due to how dominant the offensive line was for them and Bubba was the leader. Strong kid and big for a C may move to G. He has quick feet and also keeps his balance well.
Cons-1% developed is a scary note to have. That means we are looking at 3-4 years to get him developed. He is a little penalty prone at times and loses his temper but you have to love the cometitiveness. His combines were good i just was not sold on him.
Rating-73 #2 C #52 player on my board
Grade B+ I will eat crow if this guy meet his ceiling as he is intially a 90 rated C but i think in all my years i have never rated 2 centers in one draft. This kid is so Raw..
1 - 28 (28) Indianapolis * (10 min) Wackad00 » change team Fernando Strong RB Davidson
Pros-Strong is one of those running backs that are the focal point of your offense and gets 4.5 YPC for his career. He has elite top end speed and can outright beat angles from the defense. He reads the holes of his offensive lineman and sneaks into some of the smallest crevices. He is only 5 foot 10 but plays like a big back and moves the pile when he runs inside.
Cons-He is fast but does not have the lateral quickness to beat the edge defenders and make him a complete back. He also has lower then ideal endurance and has the ability to catch passes but not a passing down back at Davidson he usually checked out or was pass blocking.
Rating-85.1 #6 Rb on my board #31 on my board
Grade B Just so lukewarm on this pick. I hate the 0 S2O bar and he does not scream elite back to me but should be a good player for Wakad00
1 - 29 (29) Tampa Bay WilleB » change team Nicky Seinfeld G Arizona State
Pros-I love the value at the G position in this draft. There seems to be a very good depth at G i marked down 10-11 potential starters in this class alone. Nicky is as strong as they come at 225 reps at the combine 43 times! His strength is not like a ton of guys whereas he looks as strong on the field as he does off. He has quick feet and hands keeping the defender at bay on the pass rush.
Cons-Not a quick footed guy in the run game and seems to not move the pile when necessary. He is a little small at under 300 pounds and his endurance is very marginal. He has never had playing time issues but he got tired alot at the Seniior Bowl. He has a higher volatility which we hope does not hurt him in TC.
Rating-90.7 #3 G on my list #23 on my list
Grade A- Solid pick i think decent enough RB and should stick in ratings enough to overpower some lineman
1 - 30 (30) New Orleans * Nemesis » change team Ernest Morton TE New Mexico
Pros-Not invited to the combine but one of the better tight ends in college football. He is a great blocker and stronger then a usual tight end would be. He breaks a lot of tackles and also is the leader of special teams. He was the captain of special teams for the Lobos.
Cons-Not much of a big play threat and only runs mediocre routes. I try to get GD and RR on my tight ends and BP is a bonus. I had Morton listed as a 2nd rounder but sort of an enigma as the no combine assessment leaves some question.
Rating-57.1 #4 TE on my list and #82 on my chart
Grade B Starter material but i would not have thrown him into the first and i have 1 TE ahead of him. 3 Tes in this draft is a surprise for me in the 1st round.
1 - 31 (31) Cincinnati Julio Riddols » change team Tony Peele FB Kentucky
Pros-neat player here as Peele played a ton of Rb, FB, and TE at Ketucky and a ton of scouts had no idea what to evaluate him at. He seems a little too small to be an elite TE in RZB but i am guessing that is the move here from Julio. Great run blocker and strong kid who moves all 10 lineman to get the 1st down on running plays. He is an elite receiver out of the backfield and makes one handed grabs while breaking tackles. He plays every down and never gets tired and is a team leader on special teams.
Cons-He is a hard one to weigh in on. At FB i think he could be an elite weapon in the right offense as a blocker and a pass receiver. He also could be split out wide at TE and make plays there i wonder how the weight comes into play with his move and if he can gain the weight and muscle.
Rating-74.6 #1 TE #50 Prospect on my list
Grade C+ I did not see him going in the 1st round and the conversion is risky i will wait to see i gave him a plus based on the talented receiving bars.
1 - 32 (32) Cleveland tzach » change team Tucker Joseph T Washington State
Pros-Tj is a quick footed pass blocking master. He played in the spread at Washington State which is so pass happy and only allowed 1 sack per 112 drop backs this last year.
Cons-He does get penalized at times and also is a subpar run blocker. He does not overpower defensive lineman and is just average on endurance.
Rating-66.8 Starter #7 T on my list and past 80 on my board
Grade C- I really spent a ton of time on this kid and i think we have some free agents that are about on the same level but i hope i am wrong here so i can eat crow.
1 - 1 (1) Dallas ManWithNoName Kendall Siever QB Delaware State
Pros-A really fast kid at QB who threw for 3000 yards and rushed for 1500 at Delaware State. He had the fastest combine at QB this year and tied for the best bench press and arm strength. He is accurate which is a huge part of being successful in RZB. He has incerdible touch on medium and long passes with the knack to "drop" the ball in almost from outer space at times. He is a smart QB that knows the down and distance and also does well with throwing to the correct color jerseys.
