Good catch on Rogers have no idea how i missed him.
Hitchcock is the man at C of course so let's use him as the barometer Hitch 214 GP 213 GS 527/1438 36.6 % 116 pancakes 34 SA 7542 PPlays 5911 Rplays Polk 215 GP 209 GS 513/1322 38.8 % 79 pancakes 34 SA 7477 PPlays 5889 Rplays Rogers -5 rings has to yell at me too 193 GP 187 GS 470/1134 41.4 % 78 pancakes 30 SA 6225 Pplays 5973 Rplays
They are sooo close. I would put Polk slightly higher in the stats departmant myself but that 5 rings for Rogers really makes him HOF worthy on the same level.
GUrley is a tough one this is JUST rbs= AP yards 1 Chamberlain 2 Gurley 3 Rawls Tds Chamberlain 203 Rawls 187 Upshaw 107 Hayes 100 GUrley is only at 88 Avg YPG 1 Gurley 163 Rawls 145 Anniston 141 Henson 134
Yards from scrimmage Gurley is 5th all time for Rbs.
Avg yards from scrimmage per game Gurley is 12th with Ty right on his tail.
Gurley only had 6 1000 yard seasons rushing. He only had 1 double digit rushing Td season He only had 40 100 yard rushing games in 155 GP.
Gurley 698/490 6th in targets/6th in catches 7th in Rb receiving yards 6th in Rb receiving Tds 5th in 100 yard games which is really 3 in 155 GP.
OK so why is he in this talk is because of his PR yards quite honestly-
Prs 14th all time in punt returns 15th in PR yards 0 Tds KRs 1st all time in kick returns 293 and not close as number two is 235 for a RB 1st in yards 8126 for 27.7 avg 4th best avg and 4 tds is tied with two others.
In my opinion Gurley was a great player that did it all but was not elite or HOF based on those KR numbers are where he moves from just a good back to a great player.
Ug the WR convo i am not ready for. I just get all into Davidson but let's look at the Y/pt that everyone is talking about- players with at least 100 games and 500 catches 1 Caden SInclair 2 Carlos Johnson 3 Lewis Lochtfeld 4 Markus Wheaton 5 Justin Hunter 6 Mike Evans 7 Tyler Lockett 8 Owen Grayville 9 Cameron Henry
OK let's look at yards per game from Wrs- min 100 games 1 Caden Sinclari 2 Al Shelton 3 Clayton Battle 4 Owen Grayville 5 Rickey Davidson 6 Julio JOnes 14th Justin Hunter 15th Mike Evans
OK so let's talk about 100 yard games 1 Al Shelton 2 Owen Grayville 3 Rickey Davidson 4 Clayton Battle 5 Caiden Sinclair 6 Skip Samuels 7 Odell Beckham 8 Mike Evans 12 Justin HUnter
Let's look at TDs for WRs- Garyville 110 Battle Sinclair Shelton Jeffery Samuels 17th Justin HUnter Mike Evans is not on the 1st page and Hunter has 71 to Evans 58
I think the Wrs that are elite in this league if you want the top of the crop IMO- Grayville Shelton Sinclair Battle Davidson
The next level which is a drop off IMO Samuels Beckham Evans Jeffrey Julio HUnter

And just wait until Dunn has the number of seasons that those guys have...🤷♂️ If we’re reserving the HOF as voted on by the GMs for only the best of the best then there are only 3 worthy of consideration: Shelton, Grayvil, and Sinclair. They are setting the bar now. Anyone else would lessen this HOF.

Davidson got screwed much like Teddy because his career was cut short. The YPT thing is bullshit IMO as it's only one category to measure. Total yards, TDs and receptions sure as hell need to count for something.

Even if you count everything, Davison is still nowhere near. A HOF should have more TDs than drops at least. And a catch % at 56.2 is poor. He was targeted more than his contemporise, therefore id expect him to have superior stats. He really doesn't.

I can take this on.
I just want to make a few things clear first.
The Hall of Fame process should be about absolute unbiased voting. It is easy to just talk about guys that you are familiar with and have grown attached to. But this isn't what it is about. When you put players forward and vote, I would like to ask that you think about why you believe this particular player deserves to be considered and potentially be enshrined into the RZB hall of fame.
I have nothing more to say on this matter. I just ask that everyone respects the process.

Moving on....
We have six GMs on the committee this year.
rush Rob Strubbel Wes Joel Evan
I think we can start putting forward the five players we believe should be in consideration this year.

Final six are
Donald Gunn Banks Polk Rogers Hatch
Just want a simple yes or no on these guys now.
Five out of six will be enough to induct them into the HOF
