Nobody is talking about my 54/77 Guard. If the draft ran now it would be interesting to see where these guys went. But I think a 70 WR would go before any non skill player.
I am not so keen on Robs D Line guys as they are so dumb. I think their big plays will be somewhat ofset by penalties. Still, I bet if the 2nd was done over they both would be top 5 picks.
Definitely an A grade draft Rob. The 6.8 OG really nailed it in.
A post draft mock would be pretty cool in the preview.... I will see what I can do. Would be interesting to go in the past too if anyone else has time.

But yeah i could possibly do that for the last 2 drafts (2032, 2033) if you guys would like that. (nick you do 2034?) And then we could make that a tradition to make a draft do-over for our Red-Zone-Blitz magazine. I would also like to contribute more as i need a hobby and have a lot of free time.

I think it would be great if you both did it. Subjective, plus scouts will vary. I better do the rookies as anything but a perfect scout will be miles off.

I see 57/68 on your G and i think a good pick still just not as exciting as he is a G man it just seems like the right place and the right time for him to be drafted. I loved Graham and you knew that from the beginning and Grabulis looks good i want to see if his RR peaks or heck on both guys if it ends up over 50. Rob's oline guys are 38 and 44 intel not total crap so i bet they play well and both look like studs. That 6.8 is a C not ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

BTW, it’s great to see you pop in Squirrel! Good to pop by mate. Been doing zero FOF lately, plenty of stuff going on IRL, but I do look in from time to time As it happens I've just bought a fancy new computer and want to try doing some analytical work on it. So next time you're drafting here, if you want me to then let me know and I'll do a mock draft for you guys. Happy to run the full set of analytics I came up with when playing in the GML and then base a draft off that. I'd need the CSVs from someone with good scouting and a basic sense for what each team needs position-wise. Would be fun to do that if you guys were interested

Two thoughts Rob. How on earth did you get so many top picks ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) And a reminder. If there’s a WR there, you pick them. Positional value babyRob has two 80+ rated WR's And the picks he gets from trading one of them away to make room for another from this draft class he would have also used at another WR in the future. I dont think the position carrys a lot of value when your're loaded so much that you cant give them any targets. Just my opinion Ah OK, didn't realise this. I agree with that. I'd still take the WR because a young WR is so valuable...but that's helpful context. FWIW I think the WR2 is among the most important players on a roster. If you can get a WR2 as good as the league-average WR1, and your QB doesn't throw too many picks or get sacked too often, regardless of what else you do the chances are you've got a playoff team. I wonder if that's true in the NFL too, particularly with teams with league-average QBs (i.e. not New England or New Orleans). I suspect it might be and I think that's what Paul DePodesta thinks too, which goes some way to explain what the Cleveland Browns have been doing lately (and why Cleveland fans might be happy about what's been going on in Pittsburgh too...sorry Rob)

We have a guy called Shelton who you can DC all game and he still often put up 10 ypt in his prime. Get 2 great WRs and it seems offensive rolls totally take over. The defense is just hoping they don't fire. You realy can't do much but hope .

I also notice his 40 time went from 4.8 to 4.3, as expected. Bars are king.

What's even better Rob is that the 22yo WR won't see many targets while a young WR2 and he will be cheap to sign to a five year second contract as a league leading WR1. Which means you will be able to afford a defense under the cap. Which means you're a surefire contender for a bowl for many years to come.
All of this you already know...but just for the benefit of others

I always try to lock up 2nd year guys that I know are going to be around to save and allow me to plan my cap for the future. I wanted to sign Benzer, but I figured I'd take care of him next year cause of all the dead cap I'm carrying from the Delcorio deal.
