Gotta give some love to RB Demetrius Karczewski. Fell short of Henson's totals in both rushing and receiving and well short of Conley in receiving, but I could make the argument he's the biggest reason we're in the playoffs, and neither one of those chaps are.

I think JB Delcorio is worthy of a nomination. His numbers are close to Abeykoon's and he played 6 fewer games.

On a side note, Cowley had a historic season that we may never see again. 1,200 yards rushing and receiving is incredible.

I also think Jon Smith needs to be on this list.

FL Lewis "JuJu" Lochtefeld - Certainly the biggest reason for the Raiders turnaround the last couple of seasons.

Actually counter productive high targets IMO. I actually think that makes it that much more of an accomplishment. He was their total offense and we may never see a season like this again. There have only been two RBs in NFL history to ever have over 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in the same season, Marshall Faulk and Roger Craig. I know this is a sim, but to have 1,200 yards of reach has to be somewhat of a statistical anomaly.

For me giving a guy a high number of targets isn't impressive if he doesn't deliver with those targets.

I would hate to think people thought simply force feeding a guy regardless of success could make him an MVP.

I don’t know how this is a discussion? Abeykoon is the MVP

I don’t know how this is a discussion? Abeykoon is the MVP It gives the lower rung guys a chance to do a little PR and raise awareness while chasing lucrative endorsement deals.

Just digging into this a bit more really showcases how special Cowley's season is and may never be repeated: Only one other RB has ever had over 1,000 yards receiving. Interestingly enough it happened this year with the Rams Jared Thomas, but he only had 800 yards rushing. The top 5 receiving totals are listed below: 1. 2033- Corwin Cowley - 142 receptions for 1,297 yards with 7 TDs - 5.84 ypt 2. 2033 -Jared Thomas - 94 receptions for 1,005 yards with 7 TDs - 6.9 ypt 3. 2032 - Corwin Cowley -129 receptions for 940 yards with 3 TDs - 4.48 ypt 4. 2024- Peter Chamberlain- 96 receptions for 909 yards with 6 TDs -7.10 ypt 5. 2025- Peter Chamberlain- 81 receptions for 852 yards with 4 TDs - 7.34 ypt Cowley smashed his own record and had over 1,200 rushing too. Sorry, but IMO that is what an OPTY is all about. I agree that the game will make Abeykoon the MVP, but we're talking about a truly incredible offensive season that may never be replicated again. We've seen plenty of players do what he did this year. So Cowley had 289 rushing attempts for 1,225 yards, 7 rushing TDs with a 4.24 ypc to go along with 149 catches, 1,297 yards receiving and 7 TDs. Oh, and with all those touches he only had one fumble this year too.
