I've double checked with the Comiss. that he had received an export from me the last stage, I decided to change a few bits round...
I set Lillis as my DT in the Base defence vs two WR's on import Benton is in the position.
In the game plan screen I set field kicking distance from 52 to 56 on import it had reverted back to 52
I set WR's Boswell & Hall in formations 122 131 replacing Rivera , once again on import Rivera is in the playing slots
Should this be happening, will the game change things on export?

No that shouldn't be happening. Confirmed from my own game logs that changes I make are working. Are you sure you don't inadvertently have your options set to have your coach take care of depth charts and game plans?

There is an evil file that can cause these problems I believe. Seems to randomly appear. One of the commishes here will advise on what it is. Could be that. |

Rob has cleared one of the issues up - I have ticked positions in the game plans locking certain players into positions in my other MP games and they will cross contaminate into the other MP games I play - which is worth knowing (cheers Comiss.). I'm just wondering if I export a couple of MP's back to back whether there is further cross contamination because I tend to do that quiet alot - If I engaged an 'import configuration' would that be counter productive? Cheers guys Could well be the reason I keep on losing  |

I also re-loaded from a backup file due to a crash caused by a Steam update which my antivirus didn't like. Just happened to contain that in the backup FOF. Any GM who has to re-install just always check the settings before following league setup insructs. Especially Commish's as it can screw up your imports. The game defaults all teams to AI. It's a low % chance for a Commish to have to start from ground zero, but I've had to do it, so just something to remember.
Long story short from most GMs. Make sure your save game plan and depth chart on export is on. Make sure your auto-create game plan and depth charts is off (unless you want that). Re-Store Career. That should be the main issue for 90+%.

wasnt there a problem willeB had with a file earlier? an fgb file? once that was deleted he had no more issues...i believe yep there was Bob, from what i understand and remember it's a file the commish should have the rest of should not have that sometimes get's sent out. |

OK - awaited another import.
Again its completely changed the position of my wide receivers and its also overridden my game plan changes - and Lillis was removed. Stupidly I'm not sure how long this has been happening.
Everything else I've changed has been overridden.
I'll try a restore career. If possible could somebody confirm that I have the following 'edit multi-player options' set correctly. There are 8 options. In Carolina blue - I have

Cheers Rob - I hope you know that I think this is either something I've done or a cross contamination. I'm pretty sure I'd have won a couple of bowls though
Would it be that I imported an 'import configuration' last year as I couldn't drill into past seasons and players career stats. I read somewhere that a configuration import would remedy the issue (which it did) but I wonder if it may have knocked something else off kilter.

'restore career' is the other files on the server like weekly games and yearly stats.
You shouldn't have RZBRZB15.fgb nor RZBRZB15.fpb in your leagues\RZBRZB15\ folder.

Everything re-set again - I placed Rivera on the inactive list and placed Hall & Boswell in the Z slot of 122 & 131 this time for some bizarre reason they were replaced with Baxter. Field goal distance was reset and Lillis was taken out of 'Base Defense, against 2 WR's' - so all three checks failed again.
I've had a second long look into the files above and I have neither.
Does anybody have any other ideas - much appreciated

Can you delete the game off and do a total restore or am entering dodgy territory?
Perhaps if I take some screen shots and I can pop them on - god knows what I've done - cheers though Rob
