Been a busy time for me lately with one thing and another, and it shows no sign of letting up. We are behind on the write-ups. I have Moss and Perry to do. Rob has Chamberlain. Hitchcock also needs doing. If anyone would like to step in on that one, it would be a big help.
If you would like in on this years process please comment in this thread. I will be in and participating as usual.

Ty Manumaleuna deserves consideration as well. I know Wes likes him.

Hoffman looks in a class of his own to me this year.
Farmer, Strong, Donald and Polk are in my thoughts early going.

Hoffman is a no doubter.
Farmer, Strong, and Polk are all good. But I don't think I can include Polk and not also include Rodgers. Their stats are too similar.
I wouldn't vote for him right now, but Shinners deserves consideration at some point. He retired early but was still playing great.
I think CBs Jalen Collins should be added to the list as well. 2nd All-time in interceptions behind only Asher Gunn who has one more in 2 more seasons. I think RB James Upshaw should be considered as well. Not everyone can be the Barry Sanders or Emmett Smith, but if not for Rawls and the Warhorse he'd be the best RB in RZB history.

I think these are worth considering;
DE Theodore Hoffman - 1st Year of eligibility - Best Defensive Lineman we have seen
DE Dennis Shinners - 2nd Year of eligibility - Worth a mention again
C K.C. Polk - 1st Year of eligibility - Not as good as Rogers who has rings and all pro mentions
C Eric Rogers - 1st Year of eligibilty - Better than Disney and Polk but a notch below Hitchcock
LB Jon Strong - 6th Year of eligibilty - Sack numbers still hold up
S Jerome Banks - 3rd Year of eligibility - Maybe the best all round Safety we have had in the league
WR Skip Samuels - 4th Year of eligibility - I liike him more now than four years ago
LB Sammy Farmer - 4th Year of eligibility - Same as Samuels. I like him more now than in the past
WR Rickey Davison - 4th Year of eligibilty - A notch below Samuels at this stage
WR Odell Beckham - 6th Year of eligibility - On par with Davison

OK here are the HOFers now and we have to compare the guys we have on the list now to- QB Perry, Big Ben, Cam Newton RB Rawls, Chamberlain TE Moss WR none C Hitchcock G none T Robinson, Fonda P,K None DE Khalil Clowney DT Brown LB Miller, Parrish, CB Harris S None
OK let's look on par with the other Qbs and what we have to compare them to
Perry Ben and Newton are really elite company. Atts Mariota 2nd all time in atts Winston 3rd all time in atts Teddy 7th all time in attempts
Comps Mariota 2nd all time Winston 3rd all time Teddy 7th all time
Completion percentage (minimum 6000 attempts) Teddy #3 all time(Perry HUtchings) Luck #4 all time Winston #5 all time
Yards total Mariota #2 all time Winston #3 all time Teddy #4 all time
average per catch(again but less 5000 atts minimum) Teddy #3 all time(Perry and Cam) Winston #4 Grayson #5 Mariota #9
average per attempt(same 5000 atts minimum) Teddy #2(Perry) Winston #4(Perry Cam) Grayson #5 Mariota #10
Touchdown passes #3 Mariota (Mcneil and Perry) #4 Teddy #5 Luck #7 Abbeykoon(Cam)
Interceptions #1 Mariota #3 Winston (Mcneil) #5 Teddy (Hamer)
300 yard games- #1 Mariota #3 Teddy (Fjeelsted) # 5 Winston(Perry)
Rating 5000 atts min #3 Teddy (Perry and Cam) #4 Luck #5 HUtchings #6 Wintson #7 Abbeykoon
#10 Mariota
3rd down conversion percentage(100 GP minimum) #3 Teddy (Perry and Cam) #4 Carson #5 Winston
All time Qb fumbles #8 Mariota #9 Teddy #10 Abbeykoon #11 Conley #12 Winston
All time yards from scrimmage all time #6 Mariota (Cam, Perry, Edmond, Wilson, Pazzuli) #7 Abbeykoon #8 Luck #9 Winston #10 HUtchins #13 Teddy
OK let's look at each player and their in game stats Mariota- 1 Ring 81 POT 131 POTWM 14 POTW 1 MVP 1 OPOTY 1 Champ Game MVP 1 1st team Teddy - 1 ring 92 POT 140 POTM 13 POTW 1 MVP 1 POTY 1 1st team 1 2nd team Winston- 0 ring 75 POT 128 POTW 8 POTW no additional adds Grayson-0 rings 31 POT 68 POTW 1 POTW no additional adds Luck - 1 Ring 92 POT 132 POTW 15 POTW 1 Champ Game MVP 1 2nd team Abbeyko-0 ring 87 POT 115 POTW 0 POTW 2 league MVPS 1 OPOTY and 1 1st team
Those are about the only candidates even close to the rankings.
I wanted to sort of look at the league in a whole and compare the rest of the other guys.
I think Teddy is still the 4th best QB this league has seen since inception. I think even the current guys are not even on pace to where Teddy finished his career.
