I think my trade up to get Goetz was definitely worth it. I swapped firsts last year, and gave up a late 1st this year (and likely a late 1st next year) for a super stud.

I am convinced that my O-Line plays above their perceived abilities due to the Affinities they have amongst themselves and with the QB.

I love listening to Nick when he loses. Backhanded insults over and over again to the guy that beat him. Wilbanks did not beat Seattle... Indianapolis' defense beat Seattle. Don't put down Wilbanks. Don't say how average he is. How LUCKY Wack got. How dice rolls beat you. How the special teams got lucky against you. This is what you do every time. Please, Nick... when you get beat, stop trying to put the guy that beat you down, and instead boost them up.
Instead, say good game, you played great!! I need to do this or that better.
100% chance Hibby will be motivated this season. He's said it on the forums, that he could not get his head around the new version of FOF. He's putting a lot of effort into getting his head around it, and that, in itself, will be motivational.
I don't put myself in the top 10, so I appreciate that you are giving me #6. Also surprised the defending champs are not higher up...
Finally, I'd like to hear you guys rate the divisions, from strongest to weakest. GM wise, I think I'm up against some great talent in the AFC North. But this league is full of talented GMs...

I put the Colts where I did because they seem very much like a one man team, in arguably the most volatile position. Wilbanks goes down, I don’t think they see the playoffs. Tried to not judge on what had just happened. We can rank the divs next time. Personally, I think the NFC west is the toughest div. By a fair bit too

Essentially I am discussing numbers Murph. Stat analysis. I understand in this instance it sounded like excuses. When something bad happens to my team I like to try to evaluate if we suck or was what happened against probabilities and just bad dice. Then I decide that I either need to take action, or not. I felt the PR TD was against probabilities. Not sure if that was the bit you were referring to? More than happy to send congrats on the forum, but this is an inside look of what I do to keep my team where I want them. Dice is a huge factor in this game and has always been something I discuss and look at.
Again with Wilbanks, it's just discussion of facts and numbers. Joel and I trying to understand the reasons for his performance.
An analysis of the top 10 defense could be a fun topic. But it will be numbers driven I am afraid.
As for the AI calculator, what it actually does is calculate an estimate of the hidden bars. Of which we believe AI is the major influence. I just take it as a rough guide.

Had a quick listen, skimmed some bits and will probably listen in full later. Love these vids though, so keep them coming!
Willbanks is an elite back. Sometimes a really great back can make an OL look good and sometimes a really good OL can make average backs look good. Just look at the Bears for the entirety of the league. A procession of 4th, 5th and 6th round backs, all averaging 4.5+ ypc for us over the years. Wack should enjoy him while he can and run the hell out of him for the next 3 or 4 years.
As for me, I'm certainly a lot more motivated than I was a week or so ago. Whether that translates to the Bears getting any better remains to be seen but we'll be giving it a go!

In all seriousness with regards to Wilbanks. Nick is probably correct in that there is no ghosting or a GOD back with Wilbanks, and he is just a normal 70s rated back who is have a good career thus far. This league has been WR focused for decades, with defenses building to stop all of the elite passing teams we have in this league. This gives Nick, Murph, I and the others with good RBs an advantage currently because defenses are not built to stop the run as much as they could be.
For me the special quality I like in Wilbanks is the fact that not only is he an elite runner, but he get 60+ catches a year. I have found just getting the ball in his hands in whatever way we can can only be a good thing. If you look at the top 3 back as a whole it is not the running that sets Wilbanks apart.
Jonathan Wilbanks - Carries 416 for 1925 & 7 TDs...........Receiving - 66 for 604 & 7 TDs Stephen Middleton - Carries 403 for 1794 & 6 TDs...........Receiving - 0 Brett Sakowski - Carries 361 for 1675 & 10 TDs..............Receiving - 32 for 286 & 2 TDs

A RB could gain 2000 yards receiving, but if the ypt is 5.1 I would suggest that is hurting the team. A net negative on the passing game. I don't pass to Middleton as I don't believe I can break 7.0 with him. I think I can with my FB, so will bring him in to my passing game now he has developed. I think Wilbanks performance as rusher was superior all things considered. His endurance is quite a bit better. I would love the bigger bar on Middleton.
