Thanks Joel for some support, look at my last 6 seasons all about 8-8 so i never got loads of high picks as you say Nick. Initially i did yes but that was because tzach left me such a complete and utter shit show if you remember, not one pick and barely a usable player. As for Murph he's done a much better job gameplanning than i could of done and i say well done to him. I'll be quite honest Nick your constant ability to put people down is a good part of the reason i left and will not come back.

For Joel, as to who is a better GM between him and I. I think Joel clearly understands the game much better than me. And I really have no patience for offensive game planning in this version. But Joel has little patience in general, just look at how many QBs he's traded away in their prime, and he's often more interested in experimentation or finding creative ways to win games than actually winning games. I think my teams are generally a little more consistent because of that. We'd probably be pretty good if we teamed up. I feel my Cowboys teams would have multiple rings if I just had a competent game planner.
How about this for a question. If you were trying to create the perfect GM, what parts of each GM's game would you want to take? For example, you'd want Quick or Squirrel's ability to manage chemistry, you'd want someone like Julio's ability to game plan, Rob's trading ability, just things like that.
And yes, I remember that trade.

I appreciate everything said about me. Pretty much all true. My weakness is evaluating and drafting players so year over year I'm going to need to improve there. I also have other weaknesses I'm working on improving which you didn't mention.
I will say that you mentioned we were #1 in the league in yards allowed, but you didn't mention that I did a LOT of revamping on the defensive side of the ball. My secondary is probably the lowest cohesion in the league, but they are mostly young and still not fully developed so they'll get better and as cohesion grows they'll get better still. I also revamped my defensive line which played a big role in the success of our defense.
Finally, everyone looks at the trade with Atlanta the wrong way. My goal should be to improve my team. This trade did that. My offense was not going to be better with Sybrowski, because of my style of offense... But my defense is definitely better with Buning. By this logic, I improved my team in this trade and therefore it was a good trade for Cleveland. Yes it was an EXCELLENT trade for Atlanta... But my goal is to improve MY team. I'm not trying to WIN trades, I'm trying to improve my team. If the other team gets better, what difference dies that make to me? I just think everyone needs to put that trade in proper perspective... Without that trade, Rob wins the AFC North. Because of how I play the game.
A final thought about the trade... How many wins did Max get from that trade? The Falcons were probably a 12 win team without him... So he brought two wins with him. Without Buning we are an 8 win team... Because I'd have to game plan differently both offensively and defensively... So that trade brought me 3 wins.

103.30. Made me chuckle listening to this back. I think this could be a real difference maker for the Giants. I bet I regret saying that at some point.

Interesting video guys. From a Pats perspective I'm not gonna argue with your comments at all. Rylan knows what I think of him. He is awesome and clearly knows what he is doing and is going to shake up the league when he runs his own team. What a great addition to the RZB he is and I'll be the first to say that he deserves all the credit for the Pats success these last three seasons. It's no secret I detest the game planning aspect of this version of the game and its the main reason why I use a co-GM. I just can't get into it. I get my enjoyment from building a roster and the actual GM role so I'm happy to sit back and bask in some reflected glory.....

"Brian?! BRIAN?!" **hearty laugh from Nick** Gee, thanks man. Talk about an ego killer. You know the only reason I'm not in the top 10 is because the game hates me. It's not me at all. It's the stupid dice. Also...going to the other leagues you talked about. IHOF is run by Ben. Eli was going to take over, but things happened and Ben kept control. NAFL is back to full, but did have a pair of openings going into the start of this most recent season. As for TFL and "are there any GMs there?" I believe heading into the Super Bowl according to roll call, there will be three openings for the next season. Here's a list of the current GMs there. A lot of similar names as RZB:

For all the banter you did only narrowly miss out, and would no doubt of made it if I had to do a list in previous seasons.

So I posted my first reply as I was halfway through the video. After listening more, I have another thought.
PRIDE!!! That's the reason for not giving up on the team. That's why no matter how much the game and dice hate me, I won't just let it go. I'll keep trying each week. Suck or success, it'll be me doing it.
Oh, and another thing. We faced the toughest schedule. I know you mentioned playoff teams, but this is another example of the game hating me. Had we faced an easier schedule we would have made the playoffs.
That aside, great talk guys.

I'll take over our division soon enough, Joel. Enjoy your time at the top while you can 🙃
I had 7 losses by one score this year. Just a really unlucky year, but it looks like I'm trending in the right direction.

That aside, great talk guys. Totally agree. Nick is mentioning me as his #4, which fills me with joy and I love to prove that I belong at the top of the GM rankings. However neither the NFC North or the NFC South had a very big opponent and yet I still had some horrible seasons where my team went totally to shot. You on the other hand have to fight Nick twice a season and still you manage to hang in there and have a respectable record over the years. If I would be in Nick's division I would also just be another Brian, maybe I wouldn't even still be playing as I would be to frustrated to battle Nick twice a season.
