I was asked to post this so that everyone would have a better idea what the differences between the 2 schemes were. So first lets look at the Cover 3, Cover 3 Cloud, and the Cover 4. Below are the options for these in the 43 defense  Now lets look at the options for Cover 3, Cover 4 in the 34 defense  |

So basically...there are a lot less blitzing options in a 4-3
you cant blitz at all in a 4-3 from cover 3 sky or cover 3 cloud, or from cover 4
unless you are using a saved 3-4 gameplan, which is now illegal
