About time I updated this. Lots of changes since 2044...
In 2045, DE Brenden Rasmussen re-upped with the Niners at $148.57m over five years, blowing out the Jonah Woods (Chargers) contract from 2043. CB Johnathan Beale (Rams) inked a new deal for $146.18m over five years, beating his own deal by just shy of $5m which was signed the year before.
In 2047, Punter Cristian Oelschlager penned a new deal with Seattle for $27.88m over three years making him the highest paid punter since Alexis Bode (Patriots). OLB Shane Rayburn was quids in with Pittsburgh, beating the deal that Winfred Lohner penned with Green Bay way back in 2035. Safety Sammie Coleman also got paid, inking a new deal with the Niners and beating the previously best paid safety (Jordan Kassell, Bills) by a whopping $27m.
In 2048, QB Daryl Dillon became the highest paid player in RZB history. The Browns coughed up $246.38m over five years to keep him Cleveland. FB Colton Prentice became the highest paid FB for over thirty years with a deal for $12.9m over two years. WR Walter Willis became the best paid receiver in the league with a deal for $132.09m over four years with the Cardinals. And finally T Elliot Rayburn set the market for Tackles, penning a deal worth $126.55 over five years with the Minnesota Vikings.

I like to see which ones can hold on the longest. Price for a kicker is the current oldest. Not sure that’ll be top anytime soon either. Some of these prices for DEs and LBs seem huge but people seem willing to keep giving these guys what they ask for so hard to feel like those records are safe from being topped.

Justin Tucker held on to the kicker record for a good 20 years or so. Charles Clay held on to the FB record since 2015 as well
