OK so back in the day i had a chart that would roughly show you what a QB's avoid interception rating would be. Help Menu- Offensive skill players are also rated for their ability to avoid fumbling, and quarterbacks are rated for their abililty to avoid interceptions. But these are essentially hidden ratings in that your scout can not help you with them, and you'll need to analyze the statistics these players produce to make a guess as to how well your players avoid turning the ball over. and - The Solecismic Intelligence Test. All Players - relates to their intelligence. Quarterbacks - avoid interceptions, read defenses and sense the rush. The old ratio was algebra lol (AI+RD=intel) Well the new ratio includes a portion of the SR and i am trying to see if anyone has that rough formula or read something on it. Here is my QB in another league- gml.fof-belco.com/playercard.php?playerid=57525So to sum it up His intel is 45, His sole was 52, His SR is 75, and he has a read defense of 16/47. I looked all over FOFC and could not find anything on the new game and update with it.

Just by looking at him I can tell you his AI is very good pushing excellent.

So your saying to use the overall ratings and back into the math?
The mainstay in my 5 leagues is 35-42 Sole and 60 or less intell for the good/great avoid int guys.
In 25 guys i only found one that was over 46 Sole that was in there.
If you remember the math was never 100% and you could have a really low sole(28) in the older version yet still have a good avoid int.
I wanted to figure a rough mathmatical formula but i could do one out of the overall rating and see what i come up with.

I don't know any reliable shorthand way to do it... ...but to show you what Nick means I've just put together a quick google sheet you can use to get an answer on your QB. Follow the link below and fill in the green boxes with your guy's details. Then follow the key at the bottom to get a sense for the hidden avoid INT rating and what it means. Hopefully it's clear, ping me if it isn't. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_a9GBxTw0i4jK07O6d6PS6oX7Vi-PHyEXDwCjA7HGHE

As for how you draft for a QB with good avoid INT...well, that's a completely different story.
I have absolutely no idea and I've spent some time trying to figure it out. If it has something reliable to do with the sol score then it's not in a way I can figure out. I've got my popcorn ready and will be keeping an eye on this thread.

the spreadsheet looks great but it seems to be read only so you can't change the qb ratings. Thanks for doing this

Hold on I'll try to fix it
EDIT: Now fixed I think, but note that if you change it everyone else sees the changes...I don't know enough about google docs to figure out how to make it a form you fill in

So +9.8 is pretty good then? Far too good I'm afraid. The numbers were wrong, my mistake. I've fixed them now, have another go

Ran him through again....now -8.2!! Is the formula correct squirrel?
I don't see him throwing picks at that high rate in games.
