5 Big Trades of the Offseason 2027 by Strubbel 5. Buffalo Bills - Dallas Cowboys The Trade: redzoneblitz.boards.net/post/23798The Cowboys were selling their draft and get equal picks for future drafts. The Buffalo Bils are rebuilding, however with a better QB they could also compete for the AFC East, so they're in a weird position going into this year. All that said you would assume that the Bills had some great late round gems on the radar, but of those 5 picks they received just 3 are still on the Roster and just on of them has talent (CB C.J. Girling). I think the Cowboys are in a great position goin into the next drafts and can build around a young very good QB.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers - Denver Broncos The Trade: redzoneblitz.boards.net/post/23680Al Katzenmoyer is a great player and the pricetag on him was very fair, nonetheless this trade helps Pittsburgh more then Denver. Both of them used their draft picks that were involved in this trade fairly well, but Denvers roster is not able to compete for the AFC Championship so why doing this trade ? On the other Hand the Steelers are able to get rid of a player before they have to pay him big time money.
3. Buffalo Bills - Minnesota Vikings The Trade: redzoneblitz.boards.net/post/23877
Dana Stevenson is an upgrade over Walter Nachman. Ezekiel Boudreau is an upgrade over Archie Berggren. → The Vikings get the better end on those two players. Marvin Summer will also help the Vikings runD and will be terrorising opposing RB's all day long. The Bills also received WR Jonathan Shea who had an amazing year with Vikings, but he was without a doubt the best WR out their for Minnesota (Al Shelton was most of the time injured) and now he has to compete with multiple great Wideouts. The Bills dont have a QB to throw to those good WR's and Shea might not have a 1000 yard season again. On the other hand the Vikings were able to retool their Defense to make another push for the NFC North crown.
2. Oakland Raiders - Los Angeles Rams The Trade: redzoneblitz.boards.net/post/23598
The Rams did a lot this offseason to get the team on a level for a deep playoff run and strengthen the running game was a great idea. However Jared Thomas is not looking like a once in a lifetime talent and other solid RB's were taking in later rounds. The Raides will be happy with those three 1st round picks and can now plan to rebuild this roster. Overall the Rams did a good job for the short term success but without their 1st round picks in the next drafts it will be difficult to strength the roster even more and i dont think the're good enough to beat the Seahawks in a playoff game in Seattle.
1. Houston Texans - Green Bay Packers The Trade: redzoneblitz.boards.net/post/23635The Packers got a lot of picks and if they use them wisely they can get back to the glory days of the past. The best QB this League has ever seen is now a Texan, but they will have trouble to sorrund him with enough talent to comepte with the Steelers. We have to wait how this will pai out in the long run.

Wow! What a great effort fellas! This group of GMs never cease to amaze me. This marks 1the 13th season that we've been able to produce this incredible feature. I truly appreciate the efforts of all of our GMs that do things to add to the enjoyment of this great league. Your dedication and efforts give plenty of incentive to do everything I can to stay consistent with the sims each day.
Thanks again!

Great work guys and thanks Rob for keeping this league at the top of the tree Thanks, but as I always say and will continue to say. It's you guys that make the league great. I'm just the one running the sims. This league has exceeded my expectations by far. We have a great community and I really think this place has become something special.

As usual, great work everyone. I hope i ll get more time in the next few offseasons so that i can help you again.
PS not sure i d include S Booker in the steals of the draft, he survived the cut only because i m quite thin at safety.

Great stuff as always. Not sure I agree with some of it, but that just makes it better.

Great stuff as always. Not sure I agree with some of it, but that just makes it better. Me either. That trade you made with Pitt was outstanding for you.

Great stuff as always. Not sure I agree with some of it, but that just makes it better. Me either. That trade you made with Pitt was outstanding for you. Yeah, I wouldn't have given up a 1st for him. But getting him for moving down 8 spots (and getting the guy I wanted anyway) seemed like a steal. And we may not be ready to compete for the AFC, but moves like this get us closer. And I'm gambling on Sandoval. That's true. But I have a feeling and Brock was plummeting. I tried to get a FA and I drafted a guy in the 1st. But they're all gambles until they pay off.

Great work guys.
I always enjoy reading this season previes and i hope that you can understand my bad english. Furthermore i want to let you know that you dont have to agree with my take on some trades, we will see who comes out on top.
Edit: Just in case that this is not very clear: I added Career Average In the Top 5 FA moves section, what i meant was what his season average is looking like over his haul career so far.
So if a WR get a 500, 1000 & 900 yard season his average would be 800 yards. That is just the baseline of what we can expect of him. It gets more meaningful if he is longer in the league like Terell Monroe.
