GG Rylan, This one hurts after the season we had, but it's pretty much par for the course in FOF as postseason games are always a coin toss. GL the rest of the way. GG Rob, You guys thoroughly outplayed us today. Committed fewer penalties, outdid us on both sides of third down, had better success through the air, probably pass rushed better too. All we had going for us was the turnover luck. You had a great season and deserved your spot at the top of JJs power rankings. Expect to see you in a similar position next year

Hard to stop a team that runs 75% of the time and is good at it. It's really not how i want to see the game played as I have said b4 but alas i don't make the rules! Great game to you too, fatcat! Sorry you feel me running the ball 45 times on your defense was unfair. This isn't Madden. This is a sim based game, and the realism doesn't get too much better than what we have here in FOF. For whatever strength any team has, there is always a counter. If you disagree with the heavy run philosophy, maybe you should check out the box score from the Packers-49ers playoff game from January, 2020. Notice San Fran passed the ball a grand total of...wait for it... 8 times. While running the ball 42 times for an 84% rush percentage. Interesting. That appears to be more than what we did this game. Even though my team is built to run the ball. Should I have passed 20 more times to give you a better chance to win? Inquiring minds want to know? www.espn.com/nfl/boxscore/_/gameId/401131045

We used to have an unwritten rule about this but i know Rob is fine with it and you can do what you want. Don't mean i have to like it. If we all played like this we'd have stupid unrealistic stats etc and a horrible league.
I've gone 1 and done the past 3 years (4 now) including to my arch enemy the chiefs and I have always congratulated them and wished them luck etc. But this makes me think can i be bothered!

Congrats to all the playoff teams and also to those who have made it through the first 2 rounds. In 20 years of playing this game I have never understood why some people want to control how another gm runs his team. Like what one person thinks is “realistic” should be the rule for everyone else. I know you’re upset Simon and I would be too…No one likes to lose especially in the playoffs…But this is a strategy game and part of strategy is finding a way to maximize your teams talent to give you the best chance to win. Deep down… you know that. All Pass, Heavy Run, balanced. There are different teams using each of these strategies in RZB. No Different from most other leagues.
At the end of the day… The Mighty Raiders had another great season. Let’s concentrate on that… huh? 👍😎🍺

Let's not all pretend you're aren't mad when you lose. Tone matters also. When you win, take the high road and keep it moving. My 2cents. clown and I will text or whatever in a day or so. Others, I don't know, but let's not pretend. When that shoe is on the other foot, we'll see.

We all get mad when we lose. Fuck, I just had arguably the most dominant season we've ever had and went one-and-done in a game I think I win 7 out of 10 times. It happens. The playoffs are always a coin toss. I have no desire to police how GMs run their team outside of blatant collusion. If you want to be pass-heavy, go for it. If you want to run, run, run. Have at it. I have been a pass-first team for some time now and that is how I enjoy playing. Could I run if I wanted to? Absolutely. I just don't find it as fun for me as I've always thought that "chicks dig the long ball." The bottom line is that we all want to win and put a lot of time, energy, and emotion into this. I was just telling Evan and WilleB how it sucks when it's "just over" after all the work. I don't really speak to it much, but this especially gets to me at times when I work so hard to manage my cap, and then boom. It's just done, but that makes the wins all the much sweeter and what keeps me focused on trying to win year in and year out. I subscribe to the squirrel school of thought. Go 10-6 and make the tournament and anything can happen.
Keep your head up Simon. There is no reason to hang your head. You have made your Raiders relevant almost overnight. Now you need to take the next step...

Go 10-6 and make the tournament and anything can happen. Missed the playoffs plenty of times with 10 wins. May not happen for me in IHOF this season...I feel safer with 11-12 wins in any league.

I can see the post now..... Damn BgBob beat us again to win the division. This is his 4th in a row and it knocked us out of the playoffs again, he must be cheating some how. It was supposed to only have been on loan for one season. I now hate the chiefs and the broncos my newest arch enemy. I'm never going to win again
