As the new Cleveland GM... One of the problems I can see immediately is there is not enough variety in the playbook, and there are 200 plays so we can't even add plays from week to week to attack weaknesses, etc. I had a very hard time building an offensive gameplan vs. Buffalo. As for special teams, I think Simon left a good special teams unit in Cleveland, with the one exception being a kick returner which I hope I have fixed by signing Gino Lewis this week. He's also left some very good pieces in place (wish I had Dillon though  ). Overall, he put this team in a position to succeed player wise... I think the back end is where we need help (playcalling, playbook, etc.). Overall, I'm happy with the team Simon left in Cleveland. |

Oh come on guys. I much more vocal even in defeat this season than usually and I didn'tr dissapeared. Great podcast overall, but how can I get rid of that negative and old stigma of mine :/

Oh come on guys. I much more vocal even in defeat this season than usually and I didn'tr dissapeared. Great podcast overall, but how can I get rid of that negative and old stigma of mine :/ I just noticed you hadn't posted in a while. Week 9, 10, 11 or 12 it looks like. It only sticks out as you are a more active GM on the forum usually. |

You're also speaking the truth, I'm quickly losing focus when they is no way to go, but I though this season was better that years before. Anyway great video guys |

It's not a personal attack. You should know me by now, I take shots at everyone lol. We are glad to have you here, have no doubt about that. But it would be nice to see more of people when things are not going well, rather than just when they are winning.

Got further into the video...I remember you, Rob, saying I wouldn't be able to swap divisions with Kevin and the Chargers. Maybe you said that a long time ago and has since changed your tune, but I remember that. Anyway...I'm not going anywhere. I can't see myself in any other division or with any other team.

This was a fun watch, thanks for putting it on.
I've got a two birds one stone suggestion: If you put Nick in charge of sharing the screen, it avoids Rob's laggy computer and Nick having to use the mouse would keep that hand out of his mouth so we can hear him better.

great video.. i like the way you guys speak your mind.. neither of you "hold back"....
listened to the whole thing, while on a long dog-walk and it was great... it was as entertaining as the "real" stuff i usually listen to about the "real" dolphins... and it was a nice break from that...
i think everyone will agree that there wasn't enough Dolphin talk... we lost three games by two points, and a few others by less than a touchdown.. our 5-7 could be 7-5 with a few lucky bounces... maybe next episode can be all-dplphins....?

Fun chat, fellas.
The stuff on the Jets and our WR/QB all seemed fair to me. Sure, we are indeed using our WR1 as a crutch. Wouldn't anyone?
FWIW, QB O'Connor didn't suffer a rating hit after the last injury - he's just pretty routinely exceeded his ratings with us, overall. He fits what we have tried to do with our offense, pretty well.
And the chemistry stuff... yeah, that doesn't happen by accident, of course.

Nick's complete and utter refusal to give Marincic the credit he deserves always makes me laugh. Yes, Causey had a 111 QB rating last year, while throwing for a whopping 2900 yards. Owen has already topped that total in this year in 10 games, and most of the league starting QBs will top that number as well this year. Causey is almost literally Ryan Tannehill racking up a nice QBR off play action while Derrick Henry forces the other teams to put everyone in the box. He does nothing special. Owen is the GOAT.

Owen has had some pitiful playoff appearances but he still has 2 rings along with soon to be every passing record known to man. Danny Antonik always stepped up his game in the playoffs and look where that got him. Takes good luck and a good team to win rings. Doesn’t all come down to one player.
