CB McWilliams - 3 S Keeling - 5 DE Blake - 3 DT Cheuse - 5 QB Delcorio - 4
5 out of 7 votes is our cut off point, so Cheuse finally makes it in, after 9 seasons. After 4 seasons retired Keeling makes it in.
First refusal to Jeremy and Brian to write these guys up. Rob has Dunn to write up from last season.

Flood gates have to open now for DBs with Keeling getting inducted.

Flood gates have to open now for DBs with Keeling getting inducted. Gotta disagree. He was the only DB I viewed as being worthy out of ALL the many we have discussed. I thought Newhart looked good, but not as good as Keeling, especially with the newer way of looking at it. To me, it is more about how many overall passes the player defended compared to passes allowed to be completed on them. Keeling is quite a bit ahead of anyone other than Newhart that could go in the HOF

Another way to view it, Banks defended a whole 20.6% of passes that went his way, compared to Keeling who is comparatively higher at 30.15%

I think we may have been too critical of DBs over the years. I'm just saying I see at least 5 guys at the same level as Keeling that should probably be given more consideration now that the DB HoF drought has been broken.

Keeling is quite a bit ahead of anyone other than Newhart that could go in the HOF While the PD% is definitely a big factor, the whole body of work should be looked at. Things like Tackles, Assists, FF, FRec, INT's, Defensive TD's, etc... all also should be factored in. It's why I thought a guy like Banks, and down the road, a guy like my guy Ike Billingsly, should get a close look.
